Role Overview

We're looking for a Senior QA Engineer with hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing across E-commerce, Web, and Mobile platforms. You'll play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products by designing robust testing strategies, mentoring team members, and collaborating across functions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement comprehensive QA strategies, test plans, and test cases for both manual and automated testing.
  • Develop and maintain automated test frameworks tailored to E-commerce platforms.
  • Write and maintain test cases, user flows, and scenario-based test documentation.
  • Use browser developer tools for debugging and issue analysis.
  • Set up and manage selectors and XPath for data collection and validation.
  • Drive root cause analysis for defect leakage or KPI breaches.
  • Stay current with the latest testing tools and methodologies and integrate them into the QA process.
  • Collaborate with Product, Development, and UX/UI teams to ensure timely and high-quality releases.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and foster a culture of quality, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular process audits and recommend improvements to QA workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in QA roles, preferably in E-commerce or consumer-facing web platforms.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of manual testing processes, defect lifecycle, and test documentation.
  • Proficiency with browser debugging tools, selectors, and XPath.
  • Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, and web technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying issues and driving solutions.
  • A solid mathematical foundation is a plus.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with performance testing or security testing tools.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and test automation in agile environments.
  • Familiarity with tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹45, ₹100,000.00 per month
