Quality Assurance Test EngineerWe are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Test Engineer to join our team. As a motivated and self-driven member of the Technology organization, you will be responsible for assuring consistent, high quality testing standards are utilized on all products and systems within our applications portfolio.Your primary responsibility will be manual planning, test execution and process improvement. You will also maintain our Playwright/JavaScript Automated Framework and test cases. Additionally, you will work with QA and Development to drive and improve delivery processes.Position Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area is preferred.At least 8 years of professional experience on a variety of projects in Test Strategy, Test Design, Test Execution analysis & reporting.Experience designing test strategies and end-to-end test scenarios and estimating test efforts is essential.Hands-on experience with Automated Testing tools building framework and automated scripts using automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, etc. is a must.Experience in Java or JavaScript is required.Strong understanding of software QE concepts, recommended practices, and methodology that cover functional testing, integration testing, regression testing and UAT is necessary.Ability to manage multiple test events and projects at a time is crucial.Strong hands-on experience in Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall methodologies is expected.Hands-on experience with Jira, ALM, TFS/ADO or similar systems of record is preferred.API testing tools & automation (Rest-Assured, SoapUI, Postman, SOAtest or CA LISA etc.) experience is strongly preferred.Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or Bitbucket is preferred.Hands-on experience using SQL queries for results validation and data mining is necessary.Strong ability to troubleshoot issues, identifying root causes and support development team in development of resolutions is key.What You'll Bring to the Role:High level of attention to detail (eagle eye mentality).Analytical and Critical Thinking.Working knowledge of quality assurance/quality management best practices.Push the envelope, establish and evolve QA practice.Good character and a great attitude (strong team player).Comfortable wearing many hats and can function well in a fast-paced company environment.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to quickly learn and understand business processes.
