Position Overview

The QA/QC Manager will lead the planning, implementation, monitoring and improvement of the quality management system (QMS) and quality control activities across all relevant functions of Sphinx. With 10–15 years' rich experience, you will act as a strategic leader and hands-on practitioner, ensuring that processes, products/services, materials, suppliers and operations meet both internal standards and external regulatory/industry requirements.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Leadership

  • Define and drive the QA/QC strategy aligned with Sphinx's business objectives, including quality goals, KPIs, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of QA/QC supervisors/engineers/inspectors; build capability and embed quality culture throughout the organisation.
  • Serve as the quality champion – promote awareness, accountability and ownership of quality across functions.
  • Interface with senior management and cross-functional teams (Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Production, Projects) on quality issues, progress and risks.

Quality Management System & Compliance

  • Develop, implement, maintain and continually improve the QMS (e.g., ISO 9001 or equivalent) and ensure its full integration across the organisation.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, customer-specific requirements, statutory/regulatory requirements (local & international) and contractual obligations.
  • Plan and execute internal audits, supplier audits, third-party audits and customer audits; ensure timely corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) are implemented and closed.

Quality Control & Assurance Activities

  • Oversee and ensure the proper design and execution of inspection,
