Role Overview
We're looking for a dynamic creative who can both think and make. At Basil, creativity is not just about big ideas; it's about bringing them to life. This role is perfect for someone who loves conceptualizing ads, campaigns, and branded content and has the hands-on skills to execute them through videography.
What You'll Do
- Conceptualize ad campaigns, social media content, and brand stories that resonate with Basil's audience.
- Plan and shoot videos in-house (product and lifestyle shoots).
- Edit and produce polished video content primarily for ads and Instagram reels.
- Stay on top of trends in advertising, design, and video to keep Basil fresh and stand out from the crowd.
What We're Looking For
- A mix of storytelling + production skills: a talent for ad-making and strong video/photography skills.
- Someone who thrives on both big-picture thinking and hands-on creation.
- Proficiency with video equipment and lighting setups.
- Strong sense of aesthetics, visual storytelling, and branding.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Bonus: Experience in creating content for social-first brands.
