About the Company:

We are a growing real estate development company specializing in premium villa and Apartments projects in Goa. As we expand, we are committed to raising the bar in construction quality and customer satisfaction. To achieve this, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Quality to establish, lead, and streamline our quality assurance and control processes.

Position Overview:

The Head of Quality will be responsible for building and leading the quality management function from the ground up. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in quality assurance, construction standards, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will ensure that all villa projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance, while driving continuous improvement across all stages of development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive quality management system tailored to villa construction projects.
  • Establish quality standards, policies, and procedures aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a skilled quality team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and quality assessments to identify defects, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Oversee quality documentation, reporting, and compliance tracking throughout project lifecycles.
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective action plans for quality issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Implement training programs to upskill team members and contractors on quality standards and practices.
  • Monitor industry trends and update quality protocols to maintain competitive edge and compliance.
  • Report regularly to senior management on quality performance metrics and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 12 – 18 years of experience in quality management within real estate development or construction, preferably with villa or residential projects.
  • Proven track record in setting up and leading quality teams and systems from scratch.
  • Strong knowledge of construction quality standards, safety regulations, and building codes in India.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in quality management tools, inspection techniques, and reporting methods.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment and deliver results under tight deadlines.
