Teaching Faculty (Hindi / Marathi / Accountancy) & ISL Interpreter

1) Faculty – Hindi / Marathi / Accountancy

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver subject lessons for Junior & Degree College students as per curriculum.
  • Prepare teaching aids and adapt methodology to meet needs of Deaf & Hard of Hearing learners.
  • Maintain lesson plans, student progress records, and internal assessments.
  • Support students in academic and career guidance.
  • Collaborate with ISL Interpreters for smooth classroom communication.
  • Participate in college activities, events, and review meetings.

Eligibility

  • Minimum Qualification: Master's Degree in the respective subject + B.Ed (preferable).
  • Good communication skills, classroom management, and ability to adapt teaching style.
  • Prior experience in inclusive / special education is an advantage (not compulsory).
  • Freshers passionate about teaching may also apply.

2) Indian Sign Language (ISL) Interpreter

Responsibilities

  • Provide real-time interpretation in classrooms between faculty and students.
  • Support academic discussions, lab/live sessions, and student counseling.
  • Coordinate with teachers to understand subject-related terminology.
  • Assist students in understanding assignments and exam-related guidance.
  • Maintain professional ethics, confidentiality, and neutrality.

Eligibility

  • Diploma / Certification in Indian Sign Language (ISL) Interpretation.
  • Fluency in expressive & receptive ISL communication.
  • Experience in educational interpreting preferred (but not mandatory).
  • Patience, empathy and strong student connect.

Work Type & Timings

  • Full-time, On Campus
  • Monday to Saturday (Timings will be shared during interview)

Compensation

  • As per experience and institutional norms.
