Key responsibilities

  • Client acquisition: Proactively identify and target new corporate clients, groups, and event organizers.
  • Client relationship management: Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to secure repeat business.
  • Sales and negotiation: Negotiate contracts and packages, ensuring they are profitable while meeting client needs.
  • Promotions and marketing: Work with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Site inspections: Host and organize site visits for potential clients to showcase the facilities.
  • Market analysis: Analyze market trends and competitor activities to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Event representation: Represent the hotel or company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
  • Reporting and forecasting: Prepare sales reports, track performance metrics, and provide sales forecasts to management.

Essential skills and qualifications :

  • Sales experience: Proven experience in sales, with a strong preference for those with a background in the hospitality industry.
  • Market knowledge: A solid understanding of the hospitality sector, including market segments like corporate groups and tour operators.
  • Communication and negotiation: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills are crucial for client interaction.
  • Analytical skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze data and develop strategies.
  • Adaptability: The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
