Role Summary
As a Marketing & Business Development Executive, you will play a dual role: generating new business, especially from educational institutions, and supporting/leading marketing & communications efforts. Your work will be crucial in building and maintaining strong client relationships, creating awareness of our offerings, and helping the company scale by meeting/exceeding revenue & outreach targets.
Key Responsibilities
Here are the core responsibilities you would be expected to fulfil:
Business Development / Sales
- Identify, reach out to, and nurture potential clients, especially educational institutions (schools, colleges, universities), to bring in new business.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring high satisfaction, and exploring upsell / cross-sell opportunities.
- Conduct cold-calls, email outreach, networking, meetings, and presentations to convert leads into clients.
- Understand clients' needs, tailor our offerings accordingly, and present proposals / quotations.
- Track sales pipeline in CRM (or other tools), report on sales progress, and forecast future revenue.
Working Conditions & Expectations
- Role will involve regular client interactions — phone, email, online meetings, possibly in-person meetings / travel.
- Flexibility in working hours may be needed depending on clients' schedules.
- Start-up environment: high pace, ambiguity, multiple hats.

Marketing & Communications
- Develop and execute marketing plans / campaigns that support business development goals (e.g. campaigns targeting educational institutions).
- Create marketing materials—presentations, brochures, email templates, social media posts, etc.—with consistent messaging & branding.
- Manage communications with external stakeholders: clients, institutions, partners, possibly media.
- Maintain and improve presence in digital platforms (website, social media, possibly advertising).
- Conduct market research: understand competitors, educational sector trends, needs of institutions, identify gaps, and feed insights to product / strategy teams.
Internal Coordination & Feedback
- Work closely with product/service teams to align what's being offered with what clients want.
- Coordinate with marketing/design/operations to ensure timely delivery of materials, campaigns, etc.
- Gather client feedback, complaints, inputs, and ensure continuous improvement.
Reporting & Metrics
- Maintain and update CRM with all client interactions.
- Produce regular reports: sales performance vs targets, lead conversion rates, marketing campaign effectiveness, client satisfaction.
- Suggest improvements, optimizations, new channels or strategies based on data.
Other Responsibilities
- Attend events, seminars, exhibitions, workshops relevant to education sector to network and promote our offerings.
- Keep up-to-date with latest trends in marketing, sales, education sector dynamics.
- Possibly mentor or guide junior team members (if relevant).

Pay: ₹18, ₹30,000.00 per month
