ROLE SUMMARY

We are looking for a
Business Development Manager – School Partnerships
who can identify potential schools, build senior-level relationships, and onboard schools onto annual paid contracts under our service tiers.

This is a
relationship-driven consultative sales role
, NOT tele calling or franchise sales.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
School Outreach & Prospecting

  • Identify and map schools across Tier 2 / Tier 3 cities
  • Build strong relationships with school owners, principals and academic coordinators
  • Conduct capability discovery and needs assessment meetings

Pitching & Consultative Selling

  • Present Bellwether's academic support and transformation services
  • Explain our value proposition clearly without product commoditization
  • Conduct virtual or on-ground demos and academic discussions
  • Address doubts around academic implementation, teacher capability and admissions benefits

Contract Onboarding

  • Close
    paid school contracts
  • Manage pilots, onboarding documentation and contracting formalities
  • Hand off successfully to implementation team after closure

Relationship + Renewal

  • Maintain relationships with school decision makers
  • Support annual renewal cycles and upsell to higher service tiers
  • Build long-term trust and school confidence

Reporting & Targets

  • Maintain accurate pipeline and conversion metrics
  • Meet monthly onboarding targets and annual ARR targets
  • Work closely with leadership team for forecasts and growth planning
