Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchase Manager, based in New Delhi. The Purchase Manager will oversee all procurement activities, including vendor management, supplier negotiations, and quality control of purchased materials. Responsibilities include developing and executing purchasing strategies, maintaining inventory levels, tracking orders, preparing reports, and ensuring materials are obtained at the best possible cost, quality, and delivery schedule. The role also requires liaising with internal departments to align procurement with operational goals.
Qualifications
- Strong procurement and vendor management skills, including the ability to identify, negotiate, and maintain relationships with suppliers.
- Experience with inventory management, cost analysis, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
- Proficiency in supply chain processes, quality control, and contract management to ensure seamless procurement operations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to optimize purchasing strategies and meet organizational goals.
- Additional skills such as familiarity with ERP systems, advanced knowledge of procurement laws and regulations, and experience in manufacturing or packaging industries are preferred.
