Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Analyst to join our procurement team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in plastic manufacturing procurement, exceptional vendor management skills, and the ability to optimize sourcing strategies to support seamless production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement:
     Identify, evaluate, and procure plastic raw materials, additives, and related equipment while ensuring best-in-class quality and cost efficiency.
  • Vendor Management:
     Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships. Lead negotiations on pricing, contracts, and payment terms to secure favorable conditions for the company.
  • Inventory Control:
     Track and manage inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted production flow. Coordinate closely with production planning teams to synchronize purchasing with manufacturing schedules.
  • Cost Optimization:
     Implement cost-saving strategies without compromising material quality. Continuously monitor market trends and pricing to achieve optimal procurement decisions.
  • Compliance & Documentation:
     Ensure adherence to industry regulations, environmental norms, and internal policies. Maintain comprehensive purchase records, contract documentation, and supplier evaluation reports for audits and internal reviews.
  • Supplier Evaluation & Audits:
     Conduct regular supplier assessments to verify reliability, quality consistency, and compliance with agreed terms. Participate in supplier audits as required.

Requirements:

  • Education:
     Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience:
     5–6 years of procurement experience specifically within the plastic manufacturing industry.
  • Skills:
  • Strong negotiation and vendor relationship management
  • Excellent understanding of plastic raw materials
  • Inventory management expertise
