Job Summary:
Negotiate contracts and deals with sellers to promote maximum cost-savings in the sourcing and supply chain management system. Devise and execute procurement strategies that benefit the business in the best way.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Oversee all spend activity and procurement requests for assigned category areas and determine proper action plan for all that meet the procurement involvement threshold (Strategically source, user purchase, contracting).
Maintenance of approved vendor contact lists and approved, IT /Non IT Products and services lists.
Negotiate medium to large contracts with suppliers in spend areas
Track Delivery of the material and processing of bills/Payments.
Plan, direct and manage procurement activities (including sourcing strategy, RFP/bid review, and supplier management.
Negotiate contracts and deals with sellers and distributors during procurement and management .of goods and services.
Boost cost savings by analyzing market trends and technologies that promote it.
Document, log and report on procurement activities.
Approve purchase orders and ensure the timely delivery of goods and services.
