Role Overview
The Finance Manager will lead financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and compliance functions while ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of finance within a manufacturing or industrial environment. This position will work closely with the senior leadership team to support strategic decision-making and drive financial performance.

Key Responsibilities / KRAs

  • Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and cost-control processes.
  • Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Analyze financial data and present insights to support strategic and operational decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, taxation requirements, and audit standards.
  • Manage company accounts, general ledger, cash flow, and working capital.
  • Implement and monitor internal financial controls, risk management practices, and governance processes.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
  • Optimize financial processes and enhance efficiency through ERP and finance software tools.
  • Drive cost optimization initiatives and monitor manufacturing overheads.
  • Lead, mentor, and guide finance team members to ensure high standards of performance.
  • Support leadership with decision-support analyses, feasibility studies, and financial modeling.
  • Ensure accuracy, transparency, and timeliness in all financial reporting activities.

Required Skillsets

  • Strong proficiency in financial planning, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Expertise in accounting principles, taxation, auditing, and regulatory compliance.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, financial analysis, and data interpretation.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems and finance software.
  • Strong understanding of risk management, cost control, and internal controls.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience in managing finance teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Masters degree or certifications such as CA, CPA, or CFA preferred.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors is highly desirable.
