Role & responsibilities

Valuation

  • Conduct and oversee valuation of real estate, land, buildings, plant & machinery, and other fixed assets.
  • Review and validate valuation methodologies, assumptions, and reports prepared by the team.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and supervise valuation teams across projects.
  • Allocate tasks, monitor project timelines, and ensure deliverables meet client expectations.
  • Conduct technical training sessions for team members.

Client Management

  • Act as a subject matter expert for key clients.
  • Manage client relationships, handle queries, and provide value-added insights.
  • Support business development by preparing proposals, presentations, and participating in client meetings.

Compliance & Quality Control

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of statutory valuation standards.
  • Implement internal quality review processes for valuation reports.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical practices, and audit requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Strong technical knowledge of property, asset, and plant & machinery valuation.
  • Proficiency in valuation approaches cost, income, and market methods.
  • Excellent analytical, report-writing, and presentation skills.
  • Leadership and project management capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and client-handling skills.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting, accounting standards, and regulatory compliance.

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field .
  • Professional certifications such as RICS, ICAI Registered Valuer (IBBI), CFA, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 0815 years of experience in property & asset valuation.
  • Experience working with banks, financial institutions, corporates, or consulting firms is desirable.
