About the Role

A reputed textile manufacturing company in Hojiwala is seeking a Head Accountant to lead its finance and accounts function. The role requires a detail-oriented and proactive finance professional who can independently manage finalization of accounts, MIS, budgeting while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations specific to a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee complete accounting operations including purchase, sales, journal, and bank entries.

  • Prepare and finalize P&L, Balance Sheet, and financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.

  • Manage MIS reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis for management decision-making.

  • Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and all statutory filings relevant to textile manufacturing operations.

  • Monitor inventory accounting, raw material consumption, and production costing.

  • Track cash flow, vendor payments, and reconciliations.

  • Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and banks for financial and statutory audits.

  • Lead and mentor junior accountants, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of work.

  • Contribute to financial planning and cost optimization in alignment with textile industry requirements.

Candidate Requirements

  • CA Fresher / CA Inter with 4 years of experience OR Accountant with at least 4-5 years of relevant experience.

  • Strong expertise in account finalization, MIS reporting, budgeting, and taxation.

  • Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and ERP systems.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and team management skills.
