Sr. Accountant / Accounts Manager

Chartered Accountant (35 Years) / MBA Finance (5–7 Years)/M. Com (7-10 years)

Industry: Diamond Manufacturing

Location: Katargam, Surat

Reporting To: Head of Accounts/ CFO / Director

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounting & Compliance
  • Supervision of day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, and payment processing.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Manage vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and statutory dues.
  • Review and reconcile inter-branch and inter-company accounts.
  • Statutory Compliance
  • Oversee preparation and filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
  • Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable income tax and indirect tax laws.
  • Financial Management
  • Assist in finalization of accounts
  • Support preparation of MIS reports, financial statements, and management dashboards.
  • Monitor receivables, payables, and working capital requirements.
  • Conduct fund planning and cash flow management for smooth operations.
  • Coordination & Analysis
  • Communication with the Head Office for approvals, reporting, and fund requirements.
  • Provide analysis of fund requirements and ensure timely request for disbursement from HO.
  • Prepare budgets, variance analysis, and cost control reports.
  • Support management in decision-making with financial insights.
  • Others
  • Assist management in implementing financial policies, controls, and systems.
  • Ensure confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial data.
  • Engage in continuous process improvement to streamline accounting and financial reporting.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Qualifications:
  • Chartered Accountant with 3–5 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a Diamond manufacturing
  • OR MBA (Finance) with 5–7 years of relevant industry experience.
  • OR M. COM with 7-10 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards, GST, TDS, and Company Law compliance.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders (internal & external).
  • Good leadership and team management abilities.
  • Package: 6 Lakhs To 9 Lakhs Per Annum
