Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our Chartered Accountancy firm. The candidate will assist in maintaining clients' books of accounts, supporting GST and TDS compliance, preparing financial reports, and helping with audits and tax filings. This role offers strong exposure to varied clients and industries, ideal for candidates seeking to build a career in professional accounting services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain books of accounts for clients using Tally, Zoho Books, or other accounting software

  2. Assist in preparation and filing of GST returns, TDS returns, and income tax returns

  3. Reconcile bank accounts, ledgers, and vendor/customer statements

  4. Support statutory, internal, and tax audit assignments

5.Assist in finalization of accounts and preparation of financial statements

  1. Organize and maintain accounting records, supporting documents, and working papers

  2. Coordinate with clients for data collection and query resolution

  3. Stay updated with amendments in accounting and tax laws applicable to clients

  4. Provide administrative support to the senior staff and partners as required

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. B.Com / M.Com / Pursuing CA Inter or similar qualification

  2. 0–2 years of experience, preferably in a CA firm

  3. Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax provisions

  4. Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally ERP, Zoho, etc.)

  5. Good communication and client-handling skills

  6. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and eagerness to learn

Preferred Skills:

Experience working with multiple clients across sectors

Basic understanding of audit procedures and tax assessments

Familiarity with ROC filings and MCA compliance (added advantage)
