Role Overview

We are seeking a Content Associate to join our fast-paced marketing team. This role will work directly with the broader platform and investment teams to execute end-to-end content initiatives across multiple formats and platforms. You will be the engine behind our content machine - researching, writing, editing, coordinating, and optimizing content that brings our portfolio companies, investment thesis, and brand voice to life.

This is not a cookie-cutter marketing role. You will need to be intellectually curious, editorially rigorous, and operationally excellent. You will work across podcasts, social media, newsletters, events, research reports, and more - constantly context-switching between deep work and rapid execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Content Creation & Execution (40%)

  2. Draft and edit content across formats: social media posts, LinkedIn articles, newsletters, blog posts, event recaps, and one-pagers, among others.

  3. Write compelling founder stories, investment announcements, and portfolio company spotlights.
  4. Develop social media content calendars and execute regularised posting across LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram.
  5. Create first drafts of scripts, outlines, and talking points for podcast episodes.
  6. Repurpose long-form content (podcasts, reports) into snackable formats for social media.

  7. Write captions that balance storytelling, insight, and engagement - optimized for each platform.

  8. Research & Editorial Support (25%)

  9. Conduct research on sectors, trends, and market dynamics to inform content and thought leadership pieces.

  10. Extract key insights from podcast transcripts, interviews, and internal discussions.
  11. Monitor startup ecosystem news, funding announcements, and emerging narratives.
  12. Identify content opportunities based on portfolio company milestones and industry developments.
  13. Fact-check content, verify data points, and ensure editorial accuracy.

  14. Build and maintain a content repository (templates, past campaigns, best-performing posts).

  15. Coordination & Project Management (20%)

  16. Coordinate with design, video, and external agencies to bring content tolife.

  17. Manage timelines for multi-stakeholder projects.
  18. Track content performance metrics and prepare weekly/monthly reporting.
  19. Maintain editorial calendars and ensure timely execution of all content initiatives.
  20. Liaise with portfolio companies for content collection (case studies, testimonials, event participation).

  21. Support logistics for content-heavy activities (workshops, panels, mixers).

  22. Optimization & Growth (15%)

  23. Monitor social media engagement and identify patterns in high-performing content.

  24. Conduct A/B testing on headlines, formats, and postingtimes.
  25. Stay updated on platform algorithm changes and content best practices.
  26. Recommend improvements to content strategy based on data and industry benchmarks.
  27. Build audience personas and refine messaging for different stakeholder groups (founders, LPs, ecosystem).

Requirements:

  • Exceptional business writing: ability to write clearly, persuasively, and with nuance across formats.
  • Editorial judgment: strong command of grammar, style, tone, and storytelling structure.
  • Social media fluency: deep understanding of LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram - what works, what doesn't, and why.
  • Research skills: ability to synthesize complex information quickly and extract actionable insights.
  • Digital marketing fundamentals: basic understanding of SEO, content optimization, and engagement metrics.
  • Project management: ability to juggle multiple projects, prioritize ruthlessly, and deliver on time.
