Junior Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations. Freshers with a strong academic background in accounting are encouraged to apply, as well as experienced candidates looking to grow in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
• Reconcile bank statements and ledger entries
• Support accounts payable and receivable processes
• Assist with tax filings and compliance documentation
• Help with audits and internal financial reviews
• Perform data entry and maintain accounting databases
• Collaborate with other departments for financial data collection

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred (for experienced candidates):

• 1 year of experience in accounting or finance
• Experience with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance
• Familiarity with ERP systems

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: Up to ₹12,000.00 per month

• Haora, Howrah, West Bengal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
