Job Summary

The Senior Accounts Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, handling reconciliations, overseeing statutory compliance, and supporting the preparation of budgets and audits. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under strict deadlines while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as GST, TDS, income tax, PF/ESI, and other applicable regulations.
  • Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities for audits and assessments.
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund management.
  • Support process improvements and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Supervise junior accountants/executives and provide guidance when required.
  • Handle vendor, client, and interdepartmental queries related to accounts and finance.
