About the role

Summary / Objective

The HRIS Specialist will support and maintain our Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) with a primary focus on Dayforce. This role will provide technical expertise, system administration, and advanced troubleshooting (L1–L3), ensuring the integrity, security, and optimal performance of the HRIS. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR processes, workflow configuration, and system security policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert and system administrator for Dayforce.
  • Provide Tier 1–3 support for HRIS issues, including configuration, workflow errors, and data discrepancies.
  • Maintain HRIS user access, roles, permissions, and ensure compliance with security protocols.
  • Monitor and manage system performance, conduct routine audits, and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Support system updates, patches, and new module implementations by coordinating testing and documentation.
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT, and vendors to resolve complex system problems.
  • Document standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflows, and system configurations.
  • Create and manage custom reports and data extracts as needed.
  • Assist with system training and support for HR users.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of hands-on HRIS administration experience, preferably with Dayforce.
  • Solid understanding of HR processes and workflows (e.g., onboarding, payroll, talent, benefits).
  • Demonstrated experience providing L1-L3 technical support and issue resolution.
  • Strong Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data cleansing).
  • Working knowledge of HRIS security protocols and data privacy best practices.
  • Experience supporting system upgrades, testing, and configurations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
