
Team Lead

The Team Lead, Travel is responsible for providing day-to-day guidance and support to a team of travel agents or consultants. This role is a blend of leadership and hands-on operational work, ensuring the team meets its targets, delivers exceptional customer service, and adheres to all company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Supervision: Guide and mentor team members on a daily basis, providing support for complex booking issues, client inquiries, and technical problems.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and report on team performance metrics such as booking volume, accuracy rates, and customer satisfaction scores. Conduct regular one-on-one sessions and provide feedback.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks on travel itineraries, bookings, and customer communications to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Training and Development: Assist in onboarding new team members and identifying training needs for the existing team. Conduct refresher training on new systems, policies, or industry updates.
- Operational Support: Handle escalated client issues and complaints, ensuring timely and effective resolution. Act as the primary point of contact for the team and liaise with management.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in the travel process and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in the travel industry, with a solid background in a customer-facing role such as a travel consultant or agent.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to motivate a team and provide effective coaching and guidance.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. The ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Education: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., hospitality, tourism, business) is often preferred but not always required.

Pay: ₹30, ₹50,000.00 per month
