Role Summary

We are looking for an
SEO Specialist / SEO Team Lead
with
hands-on experience managing large websites
that publish
hundreds of service pages and blogs at scale
. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in
multi-location SEO
(Google Business Profiles, local listings, NAP consistency, and review management), along with expertise in
developing and executing extensive off-page strategies
including
link building, citations, digital PR, content distribution, and partnerships
. The role also requires strong ability to perform
technical SEO audits
(site architecture, indexing, core web vitals, crawlability) and drive implementation in collaboration with developers. Candidates must bring
team leadership experience
, guiding SEO executives and junior staff, setting clear KPIs, and ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality SEO outcomes.

Responsibilities

·      Define and implement the overall strategy to improve the institute's visibility on Google across India and target international regions.

·      Strengthen our presence in cities and towns by creating and optimizing local pages and business listings.

·      Work with content and brand teams to ensure all web assets are discoverable and rank well on search engines.

·      Collaborate with design and marketing to repurpose and distribute content for broader reach.

·      Oversee technical improvements such as site speed, mobile experience, and overall website performance.

·      Build authority and trust through partnerships, mentions, and references from credible sites and platforms.

·      Ensure accuracy and consistency of online listings, profiles, and directories across multiple geographies.

·      Track performance metrics (traffic, leads, keyword rankings) and adjust strategies to hit growth targets.

·      Benchmark against competitors and identify opportunities for expansion in new regions and industries.

·      Lead and manage a team that executes day-to-day activities like listings, submissions, audits, and reporting.

·      Collaborate with stakeholders in tech, product, and business teams to deliver long-term growth initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications

Required

·      4–6 years of experience driving organic growth for large websites with hundreds of service pages and blogs, ensuring stable rankings and consistent traffic growth at scale.

·      
Proven success in scaling traffic and leads for businesses with a strong multi-city or multi-region presence (e.g., education, e-commerce, service platforms)

·      
Strong expertise in off-page growth strategies: link building, high-authority citations, digital PR, content distribution, and partnerships.

·      
Deep understanding of technical SEO: site performance, crawlability, mobile-first design, and structured data.

·      
Hands-on expertise with leading SEO tools: Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, GA4, and competitor analysis platforms.

·      
Experience in managing and mentoring SEO executives/junior staff, setting KPIs, reviewing output, and ensuring alignment with growth goals.

·      
Strong analytical ability to translate data into actionable strategies and measurable outcomes.

Preferred

·      Experience in fast-scaling organizations with aggressive growth goals.

·      Exposure to managing visibility across multiple countries or regions.
