JOB OVERVIEW
Job responsibilities include:
- Analyze claims which are unpaid and takes end to end action based on the denial received.
- Call insurance and check for the reason why the claim was denied/rejected and make changes necessarily.
- Generates reports to distinguish the collectable and non-collectables.
- Checks status for the claims which have been recently submitted.
- Documents notes based on the conversation with the insurance rep and updated provider office if any new issues are found.
- Need to appeal the claim in portal (or) through call so the claim could get paid.
- Need to have strong knowledge how an RCM works.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- The primary task is to call insurance to check the status of the claims, especially on the ones which denied has to be taken action.
- The secondary task is to make the insurance to pay for the claim.
- Must be efficient in managing the accuracy and productivity based on the TAT(turn around time) set by the organization.
- He/She must show the willingness to learn new things.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Must discuss every matter with the supervisor or team leader to get any issue sorted.
- Giving a resolution to each claim assigned should be their whole and sole responsibility, unless escalated/Completed.
- Must efficiently set goals and work, so to maintain highest level of quality while providing service to the clients.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Any Degree with minimum of 1(or) 2yr of experience in AR calling
- Should be willing to work in night shift as per the company requirements.
- Basic Excel knowledge and strong writing and oral communication skills.
- Preference will be given to healthcare BPO professionals with experience in voice processes, good typing and interpersonal skills, along with a good overall performance track record.
- Must be willing to take on additional job.
