Purpose & Scope of Position

The Project Engineer (PE) will be part of an engineering stream providing engineering services to large and small projects. The PE provides support to the Project Manager (PM) and Engineering Manager (EM) and is responsible for supervising a team of working engineer and designers. The PE provides leadership and assists in the resolution of all technical issues related to the discipline.

Experience

• 11 to 15 years of experience in Civil/Structural Engineering.

Qualification

• B.E. /B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech. in Civil/Structural Engineering.

Key Responsibilities and Skill

Proficiency - Knowledge in overall project engineering & design engineering.

• Identification of client's needs based on project requirement, data collection from Client and site visit.
• Understanding of overall project scheduling, procurement activities.
• Knowledge of applicable civil and structural design/ engineering standards like IS, ACI, AISC, ASCE, BSEN etc.
• Shall be mobile & agile.
• Shall work as lead engineer for various projects.
• Preparation of technical proposals & man hour estimation for new projects.
• Cost estimation for construction works.
• Preparation of enquiry documentation for suppliers/subcontractors.
• Selection and coordination of suppliers/subcontractors.
• Understanding and interpretation of assignment drawings.
• Development and review of technical reports such as Concept Note, Feasibility Study report, Detailed Project Report.
• Preparation and checking of technical specification & BOQs.
• Must have knowledge of RC & structural Design & GFC drawings checking.
• Shall be capable of preparation of calculation of design Documents.
• Should have working knowledge of Navisworks.
