Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Boiler Operator to operate and maintain high-pressure boilers and associated equipment in a safe and efficient manner. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in boiler operation and maintenance, and a strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor boilers, feed water systems, burners, and fuel systems.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of boilers and related systems.
  • Maintain proper water chemistry and monitor water levels, pressure, and temperature.
  • Identify and troubleshoot boiler equipment issues, reporting any malfunctions.
  • Record daily operational data such as pressure readings, temperatures, fuel usage, and water levels.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and keep logs of maintenance tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and other engineering staff.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification or training in Boiler Operation (preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a boiler operator or in a similar mechanical/technical role.
  • Strong knowledge of boiler systems, controls, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to read gauges, meters, and schematics.
  • Physically fit and capable of working in high-heat environments.
