Role & responsibilities

  • Develop and implement modern trade strategies to achieve revenue, volume, and visibility targets.
  • Manage relationships with national and regional retail chains (e.g., Reliance Retail, DMart, Big Bazaar, Spencers, Metro, etc.).
  • Lead annual business planning, including Joint Business Plans (JBP), trade terms, and promotional calendars.
  • Ensure effective execution of planograms, merchandising, and in-store branding.
  • Monitor stock levels, order fulfillment, and supply chain coordination to avoid stock-outs or overstocking.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing and category teams to launch new products and drive consumer engagement.
  • Train and manage field sales teams and promoters for better execution and compliance.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 58 years of experience in FMCG sales, with at least 3 years in modern trade.
  • Proven success in managing key accounts and driving category growth.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP/CRM systems.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
