Head - Asset lifecycle management

"Head -Asset life cycle management" is a key position to manage network assets right from procurement till retirement. Person on this position will manage all network assets in each stage like controlling material inward, controlling warehouse putaway systems (through WH team), controlling material movement to sites, ensuring capitalization and getting assets on air. Then in reverse movement journey of assets in case of dismantling or stuck up sites, ensring safe and sure movement with right packing, right transportation, right timing through right vendors. For any losses, ensuring to debit from respective parties or insurance recovery through respective organizational setup. All in all, this person will ensure zero loss of assets and also ensure there is no time wastage in any step of material movement, whether forward or backward. This will be Zero tolerance area looking at very high cost inventory being handled.

He will also be responsible for ensuring automation/digitization of processes around journey of assets, which will involve integration of various systems through respective teams.

Responsibilities

  1. Key responsibility is process formulation around asset life cycle. Also time to time amendments in existing processes as per changing needs and as per findings in self audits or external audits. Ensuring compliance of all these processes, handling all audits around same
  2. Comprehensive material management – procurement & MIP control, timely capitalization, dismantling / degrow and RMO material back to warehouse or site to site movement safely with full packing and by following all processes
  3. CWIP control – month exit inventory, ageing inventory on sites and in warehouse to be controlled as per set targets. Devising mechanism to set such targets for circles and ensuring to achieve same by leveraging all required controls in the process. Scrap management also to be done to ensure damaged (certified) and outdated declared assets are scrapped
  4. Visiting warehouses, sudden site audits to check forward/backward movement compliances, packing etc will be required to put strong governance in place across asset lifelcycle
  5. Automation, digitization – formulating solutions for digitization across all relevant modules in oracle, CATS (inventory movement system), ideploy (inventory deployment system) and various other modules. Writing BRDs for same, engaging with all stakeholders and ensuring the development as well as putting all such developed system for mass use across circles, vendors etc with Zero tolerance

Techncial Skills

  • 10-15 years experience in similar jobs of assets life cycle management.
  • People with project management experience, planning background also can be considered
  • PMP certification will be added advantage
  • Knowledge of telecom radio and passive equioments from various equipment manufactures is urgent to have
  • Good in micorsoft excel, presentation, power BI, python
