Asset Management - Intern (Portfolio Monitoring)

Gurugram

Team Mission

Short description of role The candidate will be a part of the Asset Management team and will be expected to support portfolio growth initiatives in the existing client base. Ideal for candidates with strong analytical skills, a strategic mindset, and an entrepreneurial approach to problem-solving.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Work within the Asset Management team, in conducting assessment of the banks loan book to support portfolio growth & assist with client retention.
  • Support strategic discussions by analyzing data from multiple sources and preparing insights for management.
  • Collaborate with the portfolio management team to identify additional lending opportunities and cross-sell opportunities within the existing customer base.
  • Contribute to strategic projects that require a blend of financial analysis, business strategy, and market understanding.
  • Bring an entrepreneurial mindset, take ownership of your work, and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders to drive actionable outcomes.
Desired qualities and skills:
  • Skilled in MS-Excel, MS-Word, spoken and written English language.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements including important credit risk metrics, ratios.
  • Experience of creating succinct and analytical reports.
  • Personal drive (proactive), flexible, creative (thinks out of the box), result-driven, responsible, team player & fast learner.
  • Hands-on attitude, willing/capable to understand the big picture.
  • Ability to succeed in a culture where change and speed are part of daily work.
Education

MBA with specialization in Finance or Analytics pursuing (final year) or completed.
