We are looking for an energetic Field Sales & Marketing Executive who will drive B2B customer acquisition for our SaaS product OwnChat. The ideal candidate will meet prospects at their offices, pitch product value, run demos, build relationships, and close deals. This is a full-cycle sales role from lead generation to onboarding clients. Perfect role for someone who loves talking to customers, understands SaaS, and wants to grow in the tech-sales ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

B2B Field Sales

  • Identify and visit potential business clients (SMEs, corporates, startups)
  • Conduct in-person product demos & presentations
  • Understand customer business needs and pain points
  • Pitch OwnChat as a business communication solution
  • Drive lead-to-closure sales cycle

Business Development

  • Research local business ecosystem & prospect lists
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Participate in field events / business meets / associations
  • Create visibility for the product in local business circles

Marketing Execution

  • Support offline promotional activities & campaigns
  • Share product brochures, videos, and demo collaterals
  • Gather market insights and competitor intel
  • Work with marketing team for campaigns & events

Sales Operations

  • Maintain CRM entries and daily visit logs
  • Prepare weekly sales pipeline reports
  • Support onboarding & initial customer setup after deal closure

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 16 years experience in B2B field sales
  • Experience in SaaS / IT product sales preferred
  • Strong communication & relationship-building skills
  • Passion for technology and solving customer problems
  • Comfortable with travel & field visits
  • Self-driven, targets-focused, and energetic personality
  • Knowledge of Tamil + English communication

Qualification

  • Any degree — preference for candidates with BBA/MBA/Marketing/Computer Applications background
