We are seeking a seasoned retail leasing leader with strong exposure to international brands and global retail networks. The GM Retail Leasing will be responsible for driving tenant acquisition, building strategic relationships with leading international and national brands, and maximizing the commercial value of our retail assets. This is a senior leadership role requiring vision, negotiation excellence, and the ability to create a world-class retail ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement leasing strategies to attract international and premium retail brands.
  • Lead high-value negotiations with anchor tenants, global brands, and strategic partners.
  • Curate the right tenant mix to create a differentiated shopping experience and maximize footfall.
  • Leverage international networks, brand relationships, and consultants to bring new concepts to the portfolio.
  • Conduct market research on global retail trends, competitor benchmarking, and consumer insights.
  • Oversee lease agreements, compliance, and ensure alignment with company policies.
  • Work closely with development, design, and marketing teams to position the asset as a global retail destination.
  • Represent the company at international retail forums, exhibitions, and networking platforms.
  • Mentor and lead a team of leasing professionals to deliver business objectives.
  • Provide strategic inputs and regular reports to top management/Board.

Key Requirements:

  • MBA or equivalent qualification in Business, Real Estate, Marketing, or related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in retail leasing, with a strong track record in dealing with international brands.
  • Established network with global retailers, luxury brands, and international consultants.
  • Proven success in closing anchor and premium brand deals for malls, high streets, or mixed-use developments.
  • Strong knowledge of retail real estate market dynamics, both domestic and international.
  • Exceptional negotiation, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to strategize, innovate, and deliver high-value leasing outcomes.
