Job Description:
What will you do?
- Drive Environment, Health and Safety program for Innovare and Digital site.
Close co ordination with Lab Teams and IFM team to streamline EHS process and adhering on standards
Provide direction and coordination to the organization, maintaining EHS focus, ensuring best practices are in place. - Initiate EHS programs and incident sharing practise along with lab heads on any incidences
- Drive EHS culture in the organization.
Expert in co ordinating with lab spocs on Li ion batteries/collection/disposal /storage
Expert in guiding the electrical safety requirements for Equipments safety protocols , and aligning with lab spocs on risks associated with equipments and protection measures before operation
- Lead the EHS function by closely working with the facility contractor and ensuring all procedures and Compliances are fully adhered with
- Develop and implement all relevant EHS technical standards for site.
- Develop and implement all relevant electrical safety & LOTO Standards for the site in conjunction with group standard. Supporting shutdown activities
- Responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance to statutory safety and health regulations.
- Check and evaluate the effectiveness of actions taken or proposed to be taken to prevent personal injuries, leas investigation and analyse incidents to arrive at the root cause., conducting audits /safety walks along with lab spocs, collaboratively working and providing solution on any operation
- Develop training matrix and ensure suitable training and education programs are rolled out for the prevention of injuries.
- To carry out site & Test rig safety inspections and audits and implement corrective measures.
- Make sure risk assessment is available for all high risk activities.
- Take necessary precautions to prevent accident and injuries and assist the site Incharge and Lab incharge team in preparing EHS plan and HIRA and implement the same.
- Take lead role in reporting and investigating accidents, damages, environment losses and near misses.
- Establish strong networking with external agencies and government machineries like police, government officials and fire department .
Strong communication and creating awareness among lab team.
Encouraging Lab team to involve EHS before start of any activities to get EHS Clearances .,also ensuring EHS team will be part of planning activity.

- Bachelors in Electrical/electronics with Industrial Safety course addition EMS/OSHA Certified Auditor
