Key Responsibility:

  • Calculate slab areas and quantities from drawings for RCC, BBM, and plaster works.
  • Prepare quantity estimates for materials and labour for budgeting and ERP/SAP uploading.
  • Maintain and update material rate lists, labour rate analysis, and quantity constants.
  • Prepare activity budgets, BOQs, DTWs, and incorporate site/drawing revisions.
  • Verify quantities with site engineers and prepare reconciliation of major items.
  • Monitor material usage and identify excess consumption.
  • Coordinate with Architects, Contracts, Billing, SAP, and Site teams for drawings, BOQs, billing quantities, and material requirements.
  • Update budgets based on revised drawings, specifications, and material/labour rates.
  • Support value engineering by comparing costs, analysing wastage, and suggesting cost-saving alternatives.
  • Maintain records of quantities, drawings, budgets, stock audits, and MIS reports.
  • Obtain final sign-offs from Site Engineer, PM, and Estimation Head for quantities and reconciliation.
