Solar Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop solar PV system layouts, including rooftop and ground-mounted installations.
  • Prepare AutoCAD drawings, single line diagrams (SLD), and system sizing calculations.
  • Conduct site surveys and evaluate feasibility for solar installations.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to field technicians during installation and commissioning.
  • Ensure installations comply with safety, electrical, and renewable energy standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues at project sites.
  • Coordinate with vendors, clients, and project managers to ensure timely project execution.
  • Maintain technical documentation and prepare reports.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering.
  • 2–5 years of experience in solar PV design and installation.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, and MS Office.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, inverters, panels, and balance of systems (BOS).
  • Hands-on experience in site supervision and technician coordination.
  • Good communication and leadership skills.
