Job Summary:

We are looking for a
Quality Engineer
with 5–7 years of experience in the
solar industry
to join our team in
Chennai
. The role involves checking the quality of materials, installations, and processes at solar project sites and ensuring everything meets company and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure quality of solar system components (modules, inverters, cables, etc.) during delivery and installation.
  • Inspect work done at project sites and check if it meets design and safety standards.
  • Identify and report quality issues, and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Maintain quality records and prepare inspection reports.
  • Conduct audits of vendors, suppliers, and project sites.
  • Coordinate with project and procurement teams for quality-related matters.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality policies and relevant standards.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree (Electrical or similar).
  • 5 to 7 years of work experience in
    solar power projects
    (rooftop or ground-mounted).
  • Knowledge of solar quality standards.
  • Experience in site inspections and documentation.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willing to travel to project sites.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Chennai.
