1. Leading process validation efforts for drive trains and motors, ensuring compliance with internal standards and customer requirements.
2. Driving quality assurance activities focused on achieving zero defects, including implementation of Poka Yoke and other error-proofing methods to minimize defects.
3. Overseeing in-process quality assurance checks aligned with Standard Operating Procedures to maintain consistent product quality.
4. Utilizing industry-recognized quality tools such as MPPAP (Manufacturing Part Approval Process), FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), Control Plans, MSA (Measurement Systems Analysis), and SPC (Statistical Process Control) to identify and mitigate risks proactively.
5. Monitoring daily internal rejection rates actively, analyzing root causes, and initiating effective corrective and preventive actions to improve overall quality.
6. Collaborating closely with field and application teams to address and resolve customer complaints promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with zero-defect objectives.
7. Conducting rigorous process, product, and layered audits to identify process deviations and opportunities for quality enhancements.
8. Upholding Quality Management System (QMS) standards, fostering continuous improvement across manufacturing operations, and resolving routine quality challenges efficiently.
9. Applying structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D and QC Story to analyze rejection data, understand engineering drawings, and implement sustainable solutions.
10. Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of relevant ISO and IATF quality management standards and ensuring strict adherence throughout all quality initiatives.
This role will require leadership and coordination skills to integrate quality practices seamlessly within the manufacturing environment while supporting cross-functional teams to meet company quality goals.
ExperienceThe ideal candidate will bring between 5 to 7 years of solid experience in quality assurance and process validation within the automotive industry, preferably in electric vehicle (EV) drivetrain and motor manufacturing.
