NOTE: This position is open for female candidates only.

Prime Function:

To lead and manage the complete Human Resources and Industrial Relations functions at the plant, ensuring alignment with organizational policies, statutory compliance, and business objectives. The role focuses on people development, employee engagement, performance management, and maintaining a harmonious industrial climate.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

Manage end-to-end recruitment for plant-level positions (staff, technicians, and workmen).

Coordinate manpower planning and ensure timely hiring as per production requirements.

Conduct onboarding, induction, and orientation programs for new employees.

2. Employee Relations & Engagement

Maintain healthy industrial relations with proactive grievance handling and counseling.

Drive employee engagement initiatives, cultural activities, and communication forums.

Conduct periodic employee satisfaction surveys and implement improvement actions.

3. Statutory Compliance

Ensure 100% compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory obligations (Factories Act, CLRA, ESI, PF, etc.).

Liaise with government departments, local authorities, and unions (if applicable).

Maintain cordial relations with workers and trade union representatives to ensure industrial harmony.

4. Performance Management & Development

Facilitate goal-setting, mid-year, and annual performance review cycles.

Identify training needs through TNI and coordinate technical/behavioral training programs.

Support implementation of career development and talent management frameworks.

5. HR Operations & Administration

Manage time office, attendance, payroll coordination, and leave administration.

Ensure accurate maintenance of HRIS and employee records.

Oversee contract labour management, including contractor audits and compliance documentation.

6. Health, Safety, and Welfare

Support the implementation of safety, health, and welfare programs for all employees.

Ensure statutory welfare facilities and amenities as per the Factories Act.

Drive workplace safety culture in collaboration with the EHS department.

7. Strategic HR & Continuous Improvement

Implement HR systems, policies, and best practices in line with corporate HR strategy.

Drive HR metrics attrition, absenteeism, engagement, and productivity improvement.

Participate in HR audits and ISO/IATF/EOHS-related compliance activities.

Authority:

Approve manpower requisitions and recruitment within sanctioned budgets.

Authorize disciplinary actions and employee communication as per company policy.

Recommend salary revisions, promotions, and training nominations.

Job Specifications / Competencies:

Qualification:

MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent (preferably full-time).

Experience:

8 to 14 years of HR experience in a manufacturing/automotive/engineering industry.

Good exposure to Training and development, performance management Plant HR Operations, Grievance Handling, Welfare activities , Absentees management time office, Pay roll. Etc.

Technical Competencies:

Strong knowledge of labour laws, factory act, and statutory compliance.

Experience in handling blue-collar workforce and contract labour.

Proficiency in HRIS / SAP HR or similar systems.

Successful closure of audits (IATF, ISO, EOHS, Labour).

Implementation of HR initiatives as per annual HR plan.
