Job Title: Regional Sales Manager Dental Pharmaceuticals

Department: Sales

Reports To: Zonal Sales Manager / National Sales Manager

Location: Bangalore

Job Summary:

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will lead and manage sales operations across a designated region for the organisation. The RSM is responsible for achieving set budgets and driving revenue growth by managing Area Sales Managers (ASMs) and Medical Representatives (MRs), building relationships with key dental professionals, and executing strategic sales initiatives to achieve organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Regional Sales Management

  • Achieve sales targets for the region through effective leadership and territory management.
  • Analyse & develop regional market trends and adjust strategies to capitalize on growth opportunities.
  • Develop sales by ensuring strategy implementation as per organisational plan, monitoring product movement, availability & prescription generation

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, manage and develop the team of ASMs and MRs under him
  • Conduct regular training, cycle & sales meetings, field visits, and performance evaluation

Reporting & Compliance

  • Provide timely and accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to the Zonal/National Sales Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.
  • Monitor competitor activities and share actionable intelligence.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation BSc preferably with MBA.
  • MBA in Marketing or Sales Management preferred.

Experience:

  • 5–10 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales.
  • Experience in dental products/pharmaceuticals is highly preferred.
