Job Description
The Senior Vice President leads the Shared Service Centers, unifying governance, measurement, and continuous improvement activities under one leader. This role aims to enhance the strategic and operational effectiveness, efficiency, and transparency of these services to meet organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
Develop strategies and processes to scale the shared services center according to demand.
Manage the annual operating plan, budget, action plans, and projects to support the shared services and overall business strategy. Oversee vendors and contracts impacting the budget, ensuring procedures facilitate goal achievement.
Establish work standards and resource requirements for a cloud-based environment and virtual workforce.
Ensure operational standards for productivity, quality, compliance, and customer service are met and continuously improved.
Foster a work environment of respect, inclusion, and employee engagement to drive high performance.
Transform the culture into a service-oriented organization, delivering strategic value and improving operational efficiency.
Set long-term strategic direction for administrative functions, anticipating trends, opportunities, and vulnerabilities. Ensure infrastructure and systems support current programs and future growth.
Use data, analytics, and industry insights to assess service performance against benchmarks. Recommend strategic or tactical changes as needed.
Conduct periodic benchmarking of service cost and quality.
- Establish and manage client-focused productivity and service quality standards, including Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Ensure operational performance standards align with firm goals.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Head HR Shared Services should have:
- A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in HR operations within the financial services or trading industry.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations in Mumbai Suburban.
- Ability to manage and lead teams effectively.
- Experience in process improvement and implementing HR systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in setting up or scaling a captive shared service organization, servicing multiple verticals and processes.
Preferred Project Management Certifications.
Ability to manage day-to-day service management/shared services in a multi-functional environment.
- Proficiency in using data and analytics to set productivity and quality standards, assess delivery performance, and identify root cause issues.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in leadership role implementing and/or operating multiple functions within a Shared Services
