Role

An Associate IT is responsible for supporting the organisations technology infrastructure, ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software, networks, and data security systems. This role involves hands-on technical work, troubleshooting, and contributing to the implementation of IT solutions, including those involving artificial intelligence (AI). The ideal candidate should be tech-savvy, proactive, and eager to learn and apply emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and troubleshoot hardware systems, including servers, desktops, laptops, and printers.
  • Monitor and support network operations to ensure stable and secure connectivity.
  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and updating of software applications.
  • Support cybersecurity initiatives by implementing basic security protocols and monitoring threats.
  • Provide technical support to employees, resolving IT-related issues promptly.
  • Assist in maintaining and upgrading business applications such as Azure, InTune, and CRM systems.
  • Initiate discussions with potential vendors for IT-related procurement and service support.
  • Participate in testing and deployment of new technology solutions, including AI-based tools.
  • Ensure regular backups and contribute to disaster recovery planning/SOC2/ISO.
  • Document IT processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for internal use.
  • IT AMC & Renewals of Hardware, Software, & Services and documentation support.
  • Monitoring Avaya System & IP Phones connectivity and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, and systems administration.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Understanding of AI concepts and applications.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms.
  • Awareness of data protection regulations and cybersecurity best practices
  • Knowledge of Laptop, Desktop & Network devices hardware & part replacement.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft cloud services and infrastructure.
  • Experience on Windows 11, M365 Apps, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience on Local Network / WAN services.
