**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- A technical leader, mentor, and one who exhibits thought leadership with a team consisting of QA Engineers (both Manual & Automation)
- Owns up quality and makes quality deliverables the primary goal for all teams.
- Manage multiple projects, coordinate dependencies, and interact with other internal teams and customers.
- Be an inspirational leader with a passion for solving real problems.
- Hands-on involvement in day-to-day/ Sprint-by-Sprint /Release-by-Release product deliverables and planning.
- Collaborate with all the stakeholders with efficient coordination and clear communications.
- Build and present the engineering business cases backed by data and facts (for ex: trending defects analysis, defect-prevention techniques followed, etc.)
- Develop full-scale test strategies, plans, and associated communications documents.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and transparent fashion.
- Determine and assess the need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary during the project cycle
- Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
- Participate in customer calls related to quality and escalations.

- Technically sound, Leadership, Effective Communication, Key Sense of Urgency, Problem Solving, Accountability, Collaboration, and Data-driven.
- Experience leading the team (over 15+ members) and managing the deliverables on testing and maintaining Cloud Applications is a MUST.
- MUST be hands-on to play a crucial part in automating the test scenarios covering all the modules/functionalities of the product.
- Experience with API testing, Load/Performance testing, Cross-browser testing.
- Experience building defects analysis reports and analytics for the team members, stakeholders, and leadership team to make informed decisions.
- Good to have hands-on experience in contributing to building the CI/CD pipeline with QA automation framework & processes incorporated.
- Hands-on / Familiar with Java or Python, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Maven, Jenkins, RDBMS, AWS Services.
- Ability to drive the involvement of the QA team at a very early stage of each enhancement for the product evolution.
- Should be able to demand very high-quality work from her/his team members and deliver very high-quality solutions to the customers.
- Experience in capacity planning and bug triaging. Ability to align the stakeholders on these aspects.
- Must be able to hire the right talent and retain them by providing them the grown opportunities. Should be able to guide the team with the understanding of each member's capabilities.
