Core responsibilities

  • Tender identification and tracking: Monitor government and private tender portals (e.g., GeM, CPPP) to find relevant opportunities and maintain a comprehensive tender tracker.
  • Tender analysis: Read and analyze tender documents to understand client requirements, technical specifications, and eligibility criteria.
  • Documentation and preparation: Coordinate with technical, sales, and finance teams to gather information and prepare technical and commercial proposals, pre-qualification documents, and financial bids.
  • Submission: Ensure all tender documents are complete, accurate, and submitted on time via online portals or physical submission.
  • Coordination and communication: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal departments regarding tender-related inquiries, and attend pre-bid meetings.
  • Record management: Maintain organized records of all tender activities, submissions, and communications.
  • Post-submission activities: Manage post-submission follow-ups, answer clarifications, and assist with the contract signing process.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Business, Procurement, or Management.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a tendering, procurement, or bidding role.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and experience with e-tendering platforms like the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal.
  • Analytical skills: Ability to analyze complex tender documents and assess business fit.
  • Organizational skills: Strong project management and time management skills to handle multiple tenders and meet strict deadlines.
  • Communication skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
  • Attention to detail: Meticulous approach to reviewing and preparing documentation to avoid errors.
