CTC Range: 32,000 40,000/month Fixed + Commissions + Travel Reimbursement (Upto 150% performance bonus potential)
Role Overview
KGDC Enterprises LLP is expanding its Commercial & Industrial Solar business across Jharkhand. We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to identify and close solar rooftop and ground-mounted projects for industries, commercial units, institutions, and builder groups.
This is a target-linked, high-growth role for professionals who can build relationships, pitch technical proposals, and manage the full sales lifecycle from lead generation to deal closure and client onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage industrial & commercial clients (factories, malls, cold storage, hotels, institutions) for solar solutions.
- Understand client energy usage patterns and recommend appropriate solar capacity (50 kW to 1 MW).
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals, coordinate with design team, and present customized offers.
- Conduct site visits, energy savings calculations, and ROI projections.
- Manage proposal negotiation, documentation, and close deals.
- Liaise with EPC team post-sale for project execution and client handover.
- Track sales funnel and report weekly updates to management.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in electrical product sales, equipment sales, capital goods, plant and machinery sales or commercial B2B business development.
- Strong network in Jharkhands industrial or institutional segments.
- Good communication, commercial negotiation, and technical solution-selling skills.
- Familiarity with rooftop solar, net metering, and CAPEX/OPEX models (preferred).
- Graduate or Diploma in Engineering, Energy, or Business.
- Must be willing to travel frequently across the state (2-wheeler preferred).
Compensation & Benefits
- Fixed Salary: 32,000 – 40,000/month based on experience.
- Performance Bonus: High-earning potential with performance-linked incentives of up to 150% of fixed pay, aligned to project wins and revenue targets.
