We are seeking a highly skilled professional to support the implementation and further development of SAP DMC (Digital Manufacturing Cloud) solutions and ongoing operational activities. This role requires deep expertise in SAP Digital Manufacturing, hands-on experience with SAP DM projects, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions within a manufacturing context.

The work model for this position is hybrid. The role contributes to the Motion Drive Products division globally.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Supporting ongoing SAP DM implementation, rollouts, and development.
  • Responsible for solution design/architecture reviews, handling development tasks.
  • Driving the collection, documentation, and analysis of client requirements to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Working closely with application managers, developers, and integration specialists to define and articulate development and integration needs.
  • Applying industry knowledge to tailor SAP DM solutions, SAP ECC, and OT (operational technology) for process manufacturing environments.
  • Ensuring SAP DM solution base maintenance with good quality (technical maintenance) and suitable maintenance policies are enforced for upgrades of all relevant systems (like OPC UA servers, product connectors).
  • Overseeing technical activities of AMS teams in coordination with service/application managers and ensuring best practices and SOPs are followed.

This position requires:

  • Proven 10+ years of experience with SAP manufacturing solutions such as SAP Digital Manufacturing, SAP MII (Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence), SAP ME (Manufacturing Execution), and SAP ECC/PP.
  • At least one completed SAP DMC implementation project. Thorough knowledge of development on BTP, CPI, Business Application Studio. Experience of integration between SAP DM, product connector, cloud connector, OPC UA servers.
  • Hands-on knowledge of working with DevOps, GitHub.
  • Experience in maintaining integrations between SAP DM and on-premise systems (certificates, destinations).
  • Understanding of API and microservice architecture is beneficial. Understanding of SAP DM's analytical capabilities is beneficial.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field.
  • SAP certification in manufacturing or related modules (preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and troubleshooting skills.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of SAP DM and related technologies.
