Job Title Digital Manufacturing Engineer Description The Digital Manufacturing Engineer supports digital manufacturing activities in a cluster of manufacturing plants Tasks Contribute to the advancement of tools for digital manufacturing OEE, Advance Process Control, Energy monitoring, Digital Tracking, Digital Rootcause problem solving, Maintenance Management, Advanced Analytics Lead the technical side of implementation projects in Trelleborg s global production sites Strategic management of portfolio of tools for data management and digital manufacturing Identify and analyze new solutions and technologies for IoT and advanced analytics Handson setup and maintenance of data pipelines and data management systems Support the development of the digital transformation roadmap for your assigned plants and develop a technical concept to implement the roadmap Conduct functional and technical analyses of requirements and analyze their business impact on the entire organization Consult and support a cluster of plants in their digital transformation, where the General Managers and Digital Champions are the main counterparts Serve as an interface to other IT departments, such as infrastructure and applications Guide the involved stakeholders through a rigorous vendor selection process for external consulting, hardware and software Identify and leverage synergies between the initiatives in each plant Other duties as assigned
Requirements Degree in Engineering or Information Technology or similar education Profound knowledge of manufacturing operational technology andor information technology Experience in advanced data management for operational data like machine, energy and quality data Profound experience in big data management using cloud solutions preferred: Azure, Databricks using SQL, timeseries and other formats Experience in real time data streaming preferred: Azure Stream Analytics Experience in creating advanced analytics reports and apply data science techniques using PowerBI or Phython At least 5 years of relevant experience in operations, IT or consulting High ability to learn new methods and technologies Ability to manage and successfully complete a portfolio of multiple projects Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills Ability to work independently on projects Demonstrates concern for the successful achievement of results and customer satisfaction Works persistently with drive and enthusiasm to overcome obstacles to goal achievement Ability to effectively resolve problems of complex nature and deals with appropriate escalations and documentation of root cause analysis Understands and accurately interprets other s concerns, feelings and cultural differences Ability to effectively transfer thoughts and express ideas verbally in individual or group situations Takes responsibility for team activities that stretch beyond own functional area and ensure participation of others who are affected by plans or actions Present oneself clearly and articulately when speaking with or presenting to senior management Fluent in English, additional language skills are an advantage
