Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs using Java and frameworks like Spring Boot.
  • Build high-performance, scalable, and secure distributed systems for large-scale applications.
  • Implement microservices architecture and optimize backend performance for reliability and speed.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, architects, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Manage and optimize database queries using relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and ORM tools like Hibernate.
  • Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure adherence to best coding practices.
  • Integrate third-party services and APIs and troubleshoot backend issues for seamless functionality.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to DevOps processes, including CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 610 years of hands-on experience in backend development using Java.
  • Strong proficiency in Java frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA).
  • Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
  • Solid understanding of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM tools.
  • Familiarity with build tools like Maven or Gradle and version control systems like Git.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and DevOps tools (Jenkins, Docker, Terraform).
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in leading technical teams or mentoring junior developers.
  • Knowledge of automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).
  • Documentation and process improvement experience.
