Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated Performance Test Engineer to join our team in Cebu, Philippines. The successful candidate will have 3-6 years of experience with a strong background in Apache JMeter and Micro Focus LoadRunner. This role is a full time position with an immediate start. The primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and execute comprehensive performance tests for our enterprise applications. You will be instrumental in identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, ensuring our systems are robust, scalable, and responsive under various load conditions.

Key Responsibilities

Test Scripting and Execution:

• Design and create performance test scripts using Apache JMeter and Micro Focus LoadRunner and others for a variety of systems, including web applications, APIs, and web services.
• Develop detailed test plans for different scenarios such as load, stress, endurance, and spike testing.
• Execute performance tests and monitor system behavior to capture key Performance indicators (KPIs).

Performance Analysis and Reporting:

• Analyze test results to identify performance bottlenecks in the application, database, and infrastructure.
• Utilize monitoring tools to track system metrics (CPU, memory, disk I/O, network) during test runs.
• Prepare and present clear, concise, and comprehensive performance test reports to stakeholders, including findings, recommendations, and insights for optimization.

Collaboration and Optimization:

• Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to troubleshoot performance issues and provide actionable recommendations.
• Participate in performance optimization efforts and suggest tuning solutions for enhanced application efficiency
• Maintain and enhance existing performance test frameworks and environments to improve testing efficiency and coverage.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience:

• 3-6 years of hands-on experience in performance testing and engineering.
• Proven experience as an immediate joiner in a fast-paced environment.

 Technical Proficiency:

• Expertise in Apache JMeter and Micro Focus LoadRunner.
• Solid understanding of performance testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
• Proficiency in testing different layers of an application, including front-end, back-end, and database.
•  Familiarity with performance monitoring tools and system metrics.
• Knowledge of scripting languages is a plus.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively report findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a time-sensitive project.
