Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Performance Test Engineer with hands-on experience in functional, automation, and performance testing using tools like Selenium, Postman, JMeter, and Jira. The ideal candidate will ensure application stability, scalability, and performance under varying loads while also contributing to automation frameworks and end-to-end testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute performance test plans and scripts using JMeter for load, stress, and endurance testing.
  • Conduct functional and regression testing using Selenium WebDriver.
  • Perform API testing and validation using Postman and automated API scripts.
  • Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) phases to validate end-to-end business workflows.
  • Analyze performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and recommend tuning and optimization strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and product teams to reproduce, diagnose, and resolve performance issues.
  • Use Jira for test management, defect tracking, and project reporting.
  • Develop and maintain test documentation, including test scenarios, cases, and performance reports.
  • Support CI/CD pipeline integration for automated test execution.
  • Continuously improve testing processes, frameworks, and coverage.

Required Skills:

  • Performance Testing Tools: JMeter (mandatory) 6+ years
  • Automation Tools: Selenium WebDriver
  • API Testing: Postman (REST/SOAP)
  • Defect Tracking & Project Management: Jira
  • Testing Types: UAT, Functional, Regression, Performance, and Load Testing
  • Languages/Frameworks: Java/Python (for Selenium scripts optional but preferred)
  • Methodologies: Agile/Scrum
