We are seeking a
Performance Test Engineer
with hands-on experience in performance and load testing using industry-standard tools like Apache JMeter, Locust or similar tools. The ideal candidate should be proficient in scripting, have experience working with cloud platforms, and be able to integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.

This role focuses on performance engineering and quality assurance across a dynamic range of systems and services, rather than being confined to a single application. The Performance Test Engineer will work on load testing, stress testing, and scalability validation, contributing to automation frameworks, cloud-based test execution, and in-depth analysis of system behavior under varying load conditions. Your contribution in this role will ensure consistent performance and technical robustness across a wide spectrum of deployments.

The position plays a key role in assessing the responsiveness, reliability, and scalability of applications tailored to diverse client environments. Whether validating baseline performance of core services or fine-tuning custom deployments, the engineer ensures systems meet business expectations under real-world loads. These efforts are central to delivering smooth, efficient, and resilient experiences to end users - especially in rapid scaling or mission-critical scenarios.

We are hiring for this role in
Bengaluru, India.
We work in a hybrid model, and you can work from home most of the time, but we'd love to see you in the office now and then too.

What You Will Do In This Role

• Design, develop, and execute performance test plans using tools such as JMeter or Locust.
• Analyze test results and identify performance bottlenecks in systems and applications.
• Simulate various load scenarios to measure system responsiveness and stability under stress.
• Work closely with developers, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure performance benchmarks are met.
• Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Deploy, monitor, and analyze performance tests on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Write custom scripts in Java or Python to extend test capabilities and perform test automation.
• Document test results, provide recommendations, and support teams with tuning and optimization.

What are we looking for?

• Proficiency in one or more performance testing tools: JMeter, Locust, Gatling, etc.
• Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
• Strong scripting skills in Java or Python.
• Solid understanding of system architecture, APIs, databases, and web technologies.
• Experience with monitoring and analysis tools like Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic, or CloudWatch is a plus.
