Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Manager (Bench Sales) to lead and manage our bench sales operations. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in marketing IT consultants, generating business through direct clients, Tier-1 vendors, and implementation partners, and building strong client/vendor relationships. The role requires excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills to drive placements and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management & Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the Bench Sales team to ensure consistent performance.
- Set sales targets, monitor performance, and implement strategies to achieve goals.
- Bench Sales & Marketing:
- Market and place IT consultants (H1B, OPT, CPT, GC, and USC) with clients and vendors.
- Maintain strong relationships with Tier-1 vendors, implementation partners, and direct clients.
- Regularly update consultants on market trends and prepare them for interviews.
- Business Development:
- Identify and generate new client/vendor relationships for bench sales opportunities.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue.
- Negotiate rate confirmation, contract terms, and agreements.
- Account Management:
- Manage vendor/client accounts, ensuring timely submissions and feedback.
- Build long-term relationships to increase recurring business opportunities.
- Maintain a database of vendors, clients, and market requirements.
- Operations & Reporting:
- Monitor daily/weekly bench sales activities and report progress to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, immigration rules, and client requirements.
- Maintain documentation for all placements, submissions, and communications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 9+ years of experience in US IT Staffing – Bench Sales & Business Development.
- Proven track record in marketing and placing consultants across multiple technologies.
- Strong vendor network and established relationships with Tier-1 vendors and direct clients.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of bench sales recruiters.
- Strong knowledge of US work authorizations (H1B, OPT, CPT, GC, USC).
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in managing a team of Bench Sales Recruiters.
- Strong contacts with prime vendors and direct clients.
- Proficiency with job portals, ATS, and social networking for lead generation.
- MBA or relevant degree in Business/Management (preferred, not mandatory).
